Lesson 16. REAP


- REAP is the Rent Escrow Account Program.  Lesson 16 gives you the information on this program and how it encourages owners to make repairs and maintain their property in a safe and habitable condition.

Lesson 17. THP


- THP is the acronym for Tenant Habitability Plan.  The THP provides information of anticipated construction work - primary renovation and/or seismic retrofit.  Lesson 17 goes into more detail of what this plan is and how it may impact you and your tenants.

- Lesson 18 teaches the basics of Fair Housing. The Fair Housing Act was created with the goal of advising landlords, lenders, buyers, and renters of the housing practices that could be considered discriminatory.
